I’m more than happy with this product! More than i expected it to be, from its pretty powerful inferred light to the clear monitor screen! I can very easily see in pitch black with no problems! A big bang for your buck!

The upgrade version with the proper collet is definitely worth it, as you don’t need to wrap your scope in tape to protect it from the set screw mount. (upgrade version contains both mounting types) I also love the system’s modularity, you’re not stuck with a bulky lousy built-in IR light. The IR light it comes with is surprisingly good, however with a better IR illuminator you can reach out hundreds of yards. There really is no distance limit, you just want an increasingly powerful IR light. Accuracy and POI is maintained. It takes a little getting used to in order to shoot with it, just because your normal cheek weld isn’t a thing since you’re looking at the screen. I got one, showed it to my friends, they got them. Eveyrone loves it. Also the flashlight mount is “universal” so can mount any light as long as the head isn’t too large a diameter. There are two nitpicks I’d make:
1) This company should offer a version without the included IR light. If you don’t have an IR light it is good, but the maybe 20$ the IR light adds to the price isn’t really worth it for those of us who already have IR illuminators.
2) Under some of my magnum rifles (heavy recoil), the system restarts every time you shoot resulting in a brief screen interruption. Maybe this is because batteries are shaken in the holder and lose contact? Hard to say. Some sort of optional recoil sled or recoil isolation system for the screen would be a nice accessory.
Would recommend, would buy again. Great NV functionality at a very modest price.

Look at a review of someone who understands these units there are plenty of them. I have other expensive units. I have one like this on my 22.
I love it! My pictures tell it all. For the $$ it cant be beat! The photos are at 83 yrds day and night. You can see around the camera to verify how dark it really is. The pictures are not as clear as real time as the I pad causes a distortion as you take the photo. I bought the green 1/16 th inch thick plexiglas for the cover. Put it on with Velcro to cut night glare. Works great!

I don’t do hunting but my husband does, he show me how to operate it, its not heavy, its amazing to see animals so clear at night time, would like to say it worth the money, but it doesn’t come with the battery though

Good clarity. It rivals atn 4ks when using a good quality ir light.Customer service was awesome.

Works very well, only tested it out to 200yards on my small scope but everything is clearly visible, it needs to say batteries not included

My son really loved this for his birthday. I plan on not only getting some still image’s to show everyone but also a video. The quality is great very nice all around. Also when you go to purchase this item it automatically recommends you add a IR flashlight to bundle, but it comes with one infact all you need to do is order 18650 batteries 2 for the scope camera LCD screen, but one for the flashlight.

This set is nice. Still setting it up to see which scope it works best with. I have several. Definitely recommend highly and it is worth the money

Works better than some of the top of the line. No rats around, but squirrels will do just dandy!! Man I had a blast.Well worth the price.
Tex –
I liked how it came with parts and pieces to fit just about any configuration

Great system very happy with the setup shooting rats in the dark the first night!!
Brian Carter –
It works exactly as advertised and its great the night vision works perfectly! It duos require a stronger IR flashlight easily rectified with a E bay IR flash light for like 15 bux

Took some slight modification to fit this on our our scope. Still not a perfect connection. The issue for us, is that our scope is too short and so the brackets that come with this do not fit exactly. We can still use it, but it is not a good connection. As far at the unit itself…works really great! Have no issues with the viewing unit.

Absolutely brilliant. I recommend this for everybody, hunter or not, to use with a gun or not. As a simple IR camera that feeds to a screen the thing is amazing. Resolution is sharp, suspend your disbelief, I mean sharp when you dial it in correctly. Get yourself a blanket and you could become one mean, unseen, coyote slaying machine.

I had been trolling the auctions and decided to spend a little bit more money and purchased . It is a fun way to shoot targets and such. Really well built and a pleasant to share with my sons, we will be saving for another for my oldest son’s Diana

I love it real clear picture on screan not to bright on my eyes and i can use both eyes wish they added a vidio record srean that would make it complete

I’ve worked in the CCTV field for over 20 yrs and often thought of modifying one of my small lipstick cameras to affix to my scope or rifle this has done just that. Very basic with great features. You’re able to switch from day mode to night and with a little mechanical knowledge and common since attaching the unit to your rifles scope is effortless. Kit comes with heavy adhesive tape roll for protecting you scope and buffering the camera and housing. the IR flashlight is powerful enough to see out past 250 ft. with a little practice shooting heads up is easy. and fallow up shot are fast. only change I’d like to see is the monitor had to slightly mod my scope mounts.

I’m totally satisfied with DIY for both day-night vision. Was looking for an economy IR set up for pesting up to 40 yards. Also ordered the 8 battery pack 18650 -6000mAh with 2 chargers. Using this on a pcp air rifle, looks like it may handle light recoil powder burners. Instructions were good for mounting but vague on the operation, might be I’m a newbie.

Put screws into a low cost scope.
Use an external illuminator closer to the problem.
Perfect for PCP.

put it on a pellet gun to keep rabbit out of garden at night works good
OLando Rey –
at first i would just play with it around the house. first i took it out i used it to observe people at 267 yards at night in a city. then took it out to the country no light of any kind with a better flashlight used it to observe a range flag at 350 yards . still not sure how it will hold up but about 20 rounds thru it works great so far. i like playing with this better then my night vision scopes and monocular, might get one for my ar platform. also makes a great night sight for driving.

it works great. day and night view. set your scope. line the tube up center of scope. insert your camera in tube. plug into monitor. mount IR light turn on monitor camera comes on your ready. day and night switch is on camera in tube

First off mind blown kaboom. This little night vision camera has got to be one of the best night vision cameras I have ever been privileged to use. Me and my friend go rat hunting at local ranches at night for fun. The nights are very eventful and the Ranchers absolutely love the idea of free Pest Control LOL. He has a nice high-dollar night vision scope. I used to use a red light at night for hunting till I bought this system. And man am I glad I did the picture on The View screen is very sharp and crisp the picture of the Rat does not do this camera Justice it is much more detailed and sharp. fits nicely around my scope and on my rifle. Before too long I noticed my partner was using my scope and rifle more than his own. Very impressed with this setup. I wish I had found this system a long time ago. Very well worth the money. Two downfalls sadly though the very small on and off switch on the battery pack can sometimes be a pain to find in the dark. And the battery system. Very very very much wish they made it run off of Duracell double A instead of the 9900 mAh 3.7 V Li- i o n battery. If you don’t have it… it will not work. Trust me as a man I had the mentality it would work without them because I said it would. It doesn’t I had to order them. They last a while but not long enough when you keep the screen on long-term. But if you’re using it to hunt rats like we are easy solution get a handful of leaves and put them where they frequent most AKA under the feeders and as soon as you hear the leaves rustling turn the set up on.By using it this way I can get two full nights of hunting before I have to recharge the batteries.

There are lots of mixed reviews on this after using this product I was very excited to leave a review. My years was for deer hunting, 30 minutes before in 30 minutes after sunset, which is the rules in my state. After about 10 minutes after sunset my scope is no longer usable because there’s not enough light. For dark twilight this product works very well up to about 200 yards. Even better it is very accurate. Best of all you’re able to takeoff the back camera quickly so you don’t need to use the screen during daylight hours. Install takes 45 seconds. The initial set up with the IRS and the screen take a little longer but to really emphasize you’re able to use the scope normally put those I am still attached. Between the tape they provided and the plastic shims it work pretty well. It’s not the best mounting system but it absolutely get the job done and for the price and the flexibility I am absolutely five star thrilled

This thing is awesome. Didnt even use instructions and took ~30 minutes to set up. Only arrived yesterday and its already worth its weight in gold. I already had some 18650 batteries and cr123 from other torches. Sadly my wifes dashund was killed by a predator when she let it out around 0445 yesterday. This has already allowed me to find and dispatch the culprit with extreme prejudice. If you are on the fence buy this! You won’t regret it. Currently mounted on my .25 pcp airgun but plan on ordering more for my firearms. As an added bonus I can see my shots in the monitor as they are ~880 fps. Clear as tracers in fact. Take your time adjusting focus and scope paralax.

I’ve only used the scope a few times but it’s pretty fun and the night vision is really good for the $$. Also I may have lost a part and the Customer service was amazing. They sent me a replacement that night I emailed and overnighted it. I was really impressed.
